Puppies eyes are in the process of
opening.
At this point, they are detecting light and dark, and are preferring
to sleep under the "pigrails".
I just came across a very interesting documentary on PBS.
The Brain, with David Eagleman.
I have just watched Episode One, available for free if you have Amazon Prime.
Also available on PBS.org if you have PBS Passport.
It explains how the brain has to learn how to use the information coming
in from the eyes.
I just thought the PBS article was extremely interesting.
Anyway. On this day, the puppies, even though their eyes are opening,
are still
using their noses to navigate their world. |
