Ida's story.
I had been thinking a lot about my dad. And I was missing him.
My father died 20 years ago.
My father was originally from Poland. He fought with the Polish Underground
during WWII and ended up being captured and sent to a Russian forced labor camp
in Barnaul, Siberia.
With luck on his side, and after many harrowing
adventures, he ended up joining Anders Army, and thereby managed to
escape Siberia. From Anders Army he became recruited by the British RAF, and
then, with even more harrowing adventures, he eventually arrived in England,
where
he served the remainder of the War with the Polish section of the British
RAF.
Ida's name is
INDEPENDENCE
I couldn't resist.
I contacted Ida's breeder in Warsaw.
A short month later, (we had to wait for the required shots and import paperwork), here
we both are at Logan Airport in Boston.
Ida has Polish Kennel Club papers, FCI papers, AND American Kennel Club (AKC)
papers.
A litter with Ida and Remington is expected
around Dec 21, 2021
In the European style, Ida's puppies will be keeping their natural tails.
